Catmints
Catmint (Nepeta) is a summer and fall-blooming perennial that attracts hummingbirds.

CULTIVATION:
- Location: Plant it in full sun.
- Soil: Provide average to lean soil.
- Water: It is drought resistant, but likes periodic deep
watering during dry, hot weather.
- Pruning: Deadhead regularly to prolong bloom.
Cut older stems back to base after new growth begins
in spring.
PROPAGATION:
- Nepeta may be started from seed in fall or spring.
Protect until the plants near full size.
It is easy to transplant from four inch or half-gallon containers.
It is also easy to propagate from cuttings.
