Cranesbill
Cranesbill (Geranium ) is a mounding perenial, sometimes
called hardy geranium.
Its many cultivars provide summer through frost color to fit almost any
open garden situation.
Cranesbill works well in low to medium portions of the border.
Butterflies are attracted to it.

CULTIVATION:
- Location: Plant in partial shade to full sun.
- Soil: Provide moderately fertile Well-drained soil.
- Water: Water freely during the spring growing season, then
sparingly until frost.
- Pruning: To encourage new growth and blooms, remove old
flowering stems and leaves regularly.
PROPAGATION:
- Cranesbill may be started from seed as soon as it
ripens or in spring.
Broadcast or place seed where the plant is to grow.
You can also pull basal stems growing in early spring to start
cuttings. These may like some bottom heat to start.
PROBLEMS:
- It may stop flowering during the hottest weeks of summer.
