Grape Hyacinth for Descanso Gardens

Grape Hyacinth (Muscari). Excellent planted in large drifts for early spring color. Plant in sun or shade. Several colors and types are available in bulb catalogs. Dormant in summer-fall, needing little water.

• PROPAGATION:
  • Plant small bulbs 2 inches deep in fall. Divide when bulbs are crowded.
